I know not what the problem is. I have tried diagnosing the situation but to no avail. I have clung on to that cable of life that has sustained my very existence here, but the problem persists.
Everytime I try, I get 'page load error' or ' No connection'.
Will be back, when the internet and I are back on speaking terms.

Have you tried clearing your cache? browsing history? check your modem? splitter? Uhmm.. a blogging friend of mine in the UK is also having similar connection problem over the last few days but I suspect hers is more of a formatting problem.
Have you checked with your Internet Service Provider?
BTW, I read your article on teenage violence in UK in the newspapers today. Scary esp with knives commonly involved.

Off late Internet has been rather haywire. Have been experiencing drag in the connectivity here too.
Yup, try doing the clear cache, history thingy. Kalu still slow gak, buat kopi and cicah biskut je dulu. Tok sah stress-stress...

Kak Teh...i have a connection problem too a few months ago, checked everything, the modem, the routers even tested the connection remotely...but the problem actually only the splitter! now everything ok...or maybe you can call up the provider engineer to do the checking but the engineer will not come over after you have complained so many times (this only Virgin but i dunno others like BT or Sky)...till then enjoy your connectionless life...;-)

This time i tried with IE and it diagnosed something to do with TCP and something was repaired and let us how how long this will last and whether this reply will see light of day.

I think we are sharing the same feeling at the moment. Or probably worst. I am now in Jeju Island and my HP could not detect any network ever since we arrived. Totally cut out from the rest of the world. Luckily, cybercafe is my only lifeline here and your 'predicament' has somehow eased my feeling a little bit :)
