Confessions of a Facebook Hacker

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to put on a serious face, pretending to be working hard on a story for the Sunday Times, when what you are actually doing is hopping from one Facebook account to another? All courtesy of one sayang mama who had actually left his/her Facebook without logging out!

MUAHAHAHAAH!!! (I've always wanted to do this!) And this is not the first time. This sayang mama is so going to get it from his/her siblings! Muahahahaha!!!!!!

I have resisted Facebook invites mainly because I am loyal to blogspot. I enjoy blogspot and I enjoy interacting with my readers in blogspot. I don’t need to be prodded and pelted with tomatos or being superpoked, whatever that means.

So, my darling Facebookers:

Dena, you are hungry all the time – it runs in the family. What's new? And the wait will come to an end soon and I will be lumbered with another cucu saudara! Life is so not fair!

Wani in Manipal, you are supposed to be studying forensics and not eyeing your lecturer! And while you are doing that, close your mouth! You're drooling.

Norashikin Amin, so, what’s the 20 year old mystery? I thought Man is no longer a mystery.

Nazrah, when you’ve finished shampooing Dena, I need my hair done too.

Nona, are you serious? You are reading Roots and VS Naipal????

and to Nona and KakD, your posing memosing in Yvoire is soooooo Minah perasan!

Oh the list can go on, but I need to get on with my work and my stomach is aching trying to suppress laughter while Sayang Mama is sitting in front, unsuspecting of my forays into their worlds!

Happy Facebooking my sayang mamas, MUAHAHAHAAHA!

Kak Teh said...

Mamasita, ask your children. and then they'd probably stop you from joining Facebook - alahai, macam penfriend kita dulu2 . Boleh trackdown old friends using this cyberworld.

Dena, oh Dena, nothing beats the real thing. I can go and slapbutt you anytime. MUAHAHAHAAHA! Sayang mama is still blissfully unaware of all this.

Adoi, penat gelak.
Sorry - i have been hogging yr blog!

Habislah sayang mama... bet dia tak pernah sangka yang mamanya ada potential jadi hacker! Muahaha!!

Joined facebook for a while. May be fun for some but to me blogging serves my purpose better. So I opted out. Stick to blogging ajelah, tak ada masa nak facebook or nak hack facebook orang... muahaha!

Kak Teh said...

Pi Bani, you dapat demam Pak Malim,

"dia tak pernah sangka yang mamanya ada potential jadi hacker!"

hahaha! Yaaaa, they have to be very careful next time, kata kak teh sambil makan coklat Dime!

Salam Kak Teh
On Facebook, I found the guys who were on the same UN fellowship as I was back in 1993.
I found the Canadian who was on another fellowship, this time Cambridge in 1998.
So, in a way, Facebook serves its purpose for me.

Kak Teh said...

kay_leeda, I think I needed the distraction. But I had to log off quite fast too. Ya, that's the advantage of being a Mak.

Fauziah, I know it has its merits - am sure I'll enjoy it if I join but for now my plates are full.

Komen Pak Malim, kucing ray yg alim.

Saya tak tau guna facebook, kata Pak Malim sambil memegang penumbuk. Frust betul sebab tak tau guna facebook.
( Kelihatan Pak Malim masih memegang penumbuk).

Kak Teh said...

muahahah muahahah, i always do what you did as my daughters too have this habit of leaving their YM on... enabling the bapak a free for all chatting session with their unsuspecting friends... Now whenever they logged on they will ask all sorts of school related questions just to be on the safe side that the one online is Alia and not her bapak. Muaahahaaa

kakteh u lil rascal! babab kang!

that sayang mama is soooo gonna pout when he/she finds out

facebook is a fun way to keep in touch with people, especially those who don't really like reading. There's so much to do on FB that u can literally be facebooking 24/7.

Kak Teh said...

Mior, yes! yes! and you know what AG likes to do? when their friends called, biat buat2 suara macam anam dia - of course with great difficulties laaa, but that would annoy the girls so muh! MUAHAHAHA!!

Sue, no ownder you are always missing - facebooking rupanya! as of now - sapa pun tak tau lagi! MUAHAHAHAHA!

kak teh, facebook aka FB is great for tracking down old friends, but the sending of virtual plants and what-nots for a lil garden patch or whateva has gone a bit too far. like, whatever for?? still, you gotta admit, if you're not in FB, you're just not in!!

LOL!

Kak Teh said...

Dear Kak Teh, I've to confess I'm a Facebook user (or misuser). Sometimes I play Scrabble and other word games (WordScraper and Word Challenge) on it with friends and strangers halfway across the world. :) Fun but time wasting.

Kak Teh said...

Argus, what I forgot to mention was, I am still resisting FB, so no FB account. Aiyoo, isnt there a game online?

Madam TT, aaah, I am tempted sometimes, but.....entah lah! Enjoy it!

klmuk, let us support each other - and jangan terpengaruh! Hope you are well - take care.

lenzaidi said...

kak Teh,
FB would not have much space for you to pen down your ideas and stories.FB is more to looking for friends and anew, and networking. But Tun Mahathir and DSAI both have FB.The duo FB is all but packed with people all around them signing and leaving posts like no body's business. You never know what ticks.lol.Try one ler.
cheers.

Kak Teh said...

lenzaidi, you are right . for a penglipur lara like me, i need a lot of space...FB would be too restrictive. Lagipun, I am in touch with most of my friends since school days lagi. Entah lah, I might, but then again, I might not.

Unknown said...

Hi K Teh,

Alahai, apa tak jenguk my Facebook profile? LOL!

Kak Teh said...

Ruby, I nampak - I think it was on dena's but I was in a hurry to log out before i get caught red-handed. Anyway, read my piece in NST on Facebook moments.

wahaza extra said...

Kak Teh, that's really funny - I know youngster like me they love FB! Been cross over too... however to write a story or penglipur lara like kak teh - FB is not the place; but to spy on your kids, I think you should have a secret account instead of using Sayang Mama account; maybe enable the cookies so then you able to login next time;

However, I'm sure she will logout everytime after reading all this... hahaha

Kak Teh said...

wahaza extra, when I register, I will keep it a secret! hahaha!
