Hello K Teh,

Hmm..it is nice to see there is hope yet, detecting your open mindedness in creating this special slot to wish Merry Christmas. For some they say, to wish pun dah salah...oh wow! Tak tahu lah K Teh.

Anyway, I do have many friends who celebrate, who have wished me Selamat Hari Raya. It is only right we reciprocate.

Anyway, I was invited to a Christmas charity do by an organisation & lo & behold there was a huge halal Christmas turkey & I had a lovely time.

The function was multi racial & I felt wonderful as there is hope yet for harmony insy.

Ruby, alahai, takkan lah nak wish pun tak boleh? We have to be tolerant la, kan, when we want others to be tolerant towards our amalan and budaya. Afterall i have readers who celebrate Xmas - why shouldnt i wish them? It is all about niat.
Have a good time whereever you are going.

Farizahb, Insyaallah dan Alhamdulillah. It has been a good year and let us hope for a better and prosperous year. Have a good break.

JH, same to you!

Mamasita, yes, we hope to have a blast of a day today. Coincidentally, we also have a visiting blogger from Malaysia , with his wife and they will be joining us us.

Of course, I accept everyone mamasita - there's no criteria. People accept me as I am, I accept them.

Selamat menyambut maal hijrah to you too and have a good time with your son!

Kak Teh,
Selamat menyambut Maal Hijrah and Happy New Year. Over here if you go mall crawling its as though everyone is celebrating Xmas. I do give presents to my christian friends,we have to be more open especially living in multi cultural society like ours.
Enjoy your Anniversary celebration, as for me time to put on the dancing shoes again for the New Year Eve Party. Its going to be a blast!
Salam, NanaDJ

Salam Kak Teh,

Saya sangat gembira kerana dapat mengenali Kak Teh melalui blog ini, kata Pak Malim sambil berenang di Tasik Chini. Happy New Year, kata Pak Malim sambil memegang tayar Good Year.

Thank you Kak Teh. I will certainly take you dancing when you are here.
Tapi jangan lupa baca doa akhir tahun Hijrah (sebelum magrib, hari akhir tahun) dan doa awal tahun Hijrah (selepas solat magrib dihari yang sama).
Semoga kita semua diberkati dan dirahmati Allah.

Maal Hijrah to you KT - am muslim but just love the chrissmassy atmosphere up here - after all like you said - its the niat - this is a month of forgiving, giving and doing wonderful charitable works - and its just wonderful to be part of the glittering festivity mood in what would otherwise be a bleak wintry month. This is one of the best time of the year in England - in fact my neice coming to feel the cold!! and wintry experience - some obviously dont like it hot! hot!

ak

p.s. any clues who i am?? as from today no more time to blog u - business as usual and that means back to work uggggggh! unlucky for some.

kak teh,
Since we don't celebrate xmas (though I know you all ada makan BESAR celebrating all sorts), I want to wish those who'll be celebrating it (people in the UK especially), a Happy Boxing Day - as in happy ber-shopping la...

LOL!

That's a nice read. I'm still fairly new here.. working in Rochester for about two months now. The last time I came to UK was on '96 on a two-weeks family vacation..i was only about 12 years old that time. Now I'm here again but for a whole different purpose.

There are no other Malays in any part of my life since the day I came here. Not where I work, not where I'm staying, certainly not anywhere in Kent. I've never been to the Malaysia hall and I have very little clue as to where in London that has the highest concentration of Malaysians around. Your blog posts give me good hints about these questions i have.

Keep up with the good work ;)

harmdone!!! oooh the air asia guy! Now, I dont need any more clues. Thanks for the visit.

anon, salam maal hijrah to you too.

D, shopping is not for me, especially when there's big crowds. I get headaches! Have fun, if you are going.

Ms B, aaah, I cant bear the thought of more roast lamb. I think I overdosed on them. Have a good new year - see you soon.

Z3MMs, welcome back to UK and thanks for visiting the blog. Well, if you wanted to look for Malaysia Hall, I think you should have googled before making the journey. Malaysia Hall has now moved from Bryanston Square to Queensborough Terrace. Quite easy to find - take Central like to Queensway or District or Circle Line to Bayswater. Better luck next time.

CD, Happy new year to you too and hope your onlien business takes off in a big way.

Argus, I bet you had a wonderful Xmas and here's to a wonderful new year. Missed our online game..but we will catch up in the new year, OK?

Naz salam maal Hijrah to you and family too. Lamanya tak bersembang.
