Raihan, the popular nasyeed group from Malaysia, now performing in Toronto and then later in the week in Trinidad and Tobago, will make their way back to London on 18th July and will be performing in Holiday Villa.

ReplyDeleteDollar for dollar, $25 is a real steal. Here, for a show and buffet at a hotel, we'd have to pay something like $70 upwards.

ReplyDeleteNever heard of Raihan. Sadly, they are performing on a weeknight, otherwise £25 is good value just to listen to them for the first time.

ReplyDeletei saw a familiar name on my not-so-sweet blog just now so i come and reciprocate. i was here last week just to look-see. very comfy in here, luv, like my former apartment in bayswater.
raihan is happening, eh? i don't listen to them but they will resurface in my life in ramadhan at some hotels where i'll be breaking fast. the boys are pretty modest. in the late 70s in singapore they had a raihan-like group, but all girls, sweet-looking singapore malay girls, too. wonder what happened to them.
ah! must go now. salams to the man and the kids. and blog on.
UbA - I dont think anyone can replace Nazrey so we have to look at Nordin not as Nazrey's replacement as he is good in his own way.

simah, i enjoyed the firstone at islam expo - and the one at holiday villa is yet to happen - itis on 18th July and am taking the whole family.
kd, i will certainly write abt it - but mesti tunggu satu hari yang tenang. atthe moment i dont know whether i am coming or going. Insyaallah i will, cos it was indeed a beautiful experience.
